Intel Corporation and Lava International Ltd in India launched the first Intel chip using smartphone in India. Lava developed the first smartphone XOLO X900 with Intel inside. They designed 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor called Z2460 for the smartphones. This is used to providing strength for XOLO X900. Croma helps for the business of this phone in India. XOLO X900 has the capacity of 400 MHz GPU. It allows high definition video recording and play. It supports HSPA+ 3G connectivity.

India’s Agni V launches

India launched its 5000 Km ranged ballistic missile Agni v. It was tested on the Odisha cost from Wheeler Island on April 19, 2012. Agni v can fly 1500 Km more than Agni III. With the introduction of Agni v, India entered into the intercontinental ballistic missile club which includes US, Russia, China, France and UK.  Missile experts say that a fully operational Agni v can be expected by 2014-2015 after some more repeated test flies. The missile with 17.5 m tall, launch weight of 50 tons, 1.5 tons warhead, and 5000 Km ranged striking capacity will be a great asset of India in its nuclear weapons field.

Toshiba Launched its new tablet named “Toshiba excite 13” on April 10, 2011. Compared to other tablets, the newly launching excite 13 has a size of 13.3 inches. According to the company, it is mainly considered as a home tablet with touch screen. Excite 13 is one among the three newly released excite series including excite 10 and excite 7.7.

India’s largest private telecom company Bharathi Airtel launched new 4-G services in Kolkata. And this is the first telecom company which launched 4G service in India. The new 4G was lunched by Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal. 4G is the fourth generation of mobile communication. 4G supports high mobility communication of 100 Mbit/s. Ultra-fast broadband internet access is the other specialty of 4G.

While the first 4G is launching in Kolkata, it is expected that the facility will come soon to Punjab, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Airtel Company offers new 4G LTE USB Modem for the service access. It also provides 4G LTE Indoor gateway devices, which is available at the price of Rs. 7750.
