Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch its Premium SUV, The B-Class in India soon. The B-Class promise luxury as well as comfort for its passengers. Mercedes-Benz describes the car as a Compact Sports Tourer. The cost of the B-Class will be around 25 Lakhs. Mercedes Benz B-Class will take on the likes of the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 crossovers which will soon be launched. This will mark the presence of Mercedes Benz in this segment for the first time. The Mercedes Benz B-Class is based on the versatile MFA platform, which means that it is more fuel efficient and weight saving. The Mercedes Benz B-Class is expected to be launched in both petrol and diesel engine variants. Both the petrol and diesel variants will be available in two variants with the diesel engine coming in 108 Bhp and 135 Bhp variants while petrol engine coming in 120 Bhp and 155 Bhp guises. New direct-injection petrol engines are being offered.
