BANK CLERK EXAM BY IBPS- OPPORTUNITIES IN 19 BANKS

BANK CLERK EXAM

Declaration has been done for the examination for the clerical post in the 19 public sector banks in our country and the examination is being conducted by the Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS). It is a common written examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS. The candidates who have passed 10th with a first class can also apply for the examination. The applications will be accepted by online only. The last date for the submission of the applications is September 24th.

RAKHI FESTIVAL (RAKSHA BANDHAN) ON SATURDAY

The Rakhi festival or Raksha Bandhan is to be celebrated all over the country on 13th August Saturday. It is a festival of love and affection. The traditional Hindu festival ‘Raksha Bandhan’ (knot of protection) was came into origin about 6000 years back when Aryans created first civilization – The Indus Valley Civilization. With many languages and cultures, the traditional method to Rakhi festival celebration differs from place to place across India.

The love and self actuation towards a novel cause between a brother and his sister is the theme of this great festival. It is a festival that is mainly celebrated by the people of Northern and Western part of India, but people from other parts also celebrate this festival with same alacrity. Although, the mode of celebration may differ from region to region, but the central theme of this great festival remain same.

IIM CAT APLLICATIONS FROM AUGUST 17

The applications for the entrance exam, CAT, for the various management courses offered by IIM will be accepted from the 17th of this month. The CAT exam is conducted for the Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Indoor, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Rajpur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Shillong, Thiruchirappalli and Udaipur IIMs. The examinations are to be conducted on October 22 and November 18 in the 36 centres all over the country. The current examinations will be computer based.

In Kerala, the examination centres are decided to be at Kochi and Kozhikode. The neighbourous centres are at Chennai, Bangalore and Visakhapatnam. 2 hours and 20 minutes is the total examination time.The examination will be held in two sections- the first, quantitative ability and data interpretation and the second, verbal ability and logical reasoning. 70 minutes are allowed for each sections, both of them having 30 questions in it.
